WHY YOU’RE HERE:
We call you a creator for a reason. Whether you’ve built a loyal audience of fans on social or you know your way around Adobe Suite and are skilled at making high-quality studio content for brands’ use, Popular Pays is committed to providing you opportunities to partner with brands of all sizes.
GETTING STARTED:
First things first, make sure you link your social networks and create an identity on Popular Pays in order to fill out your portfolio and start browsing our available gigs. We require all creators on Popular Pays to link an Instagram Business or Creator account in order to participate in Instagram campaigns, check out our FAQ if you have questions about linking IG Business. You can also link your Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok accounts on Popular Pays.
PROFILE & PORTFOLIO:
As you’re getting started make sure your profile & portfolio show off why your content is worth sharing.
BROWSING:
We’ve made it easy for you to identify the type of gig that best fits your skills and interests. Available gigs are labeled as content creation or have the social network noted and the number of followers needed to apply.
Browse through the available gigs to find one that’s a great fit for you. Read the brief carefully — you’ll be referring to it throughout the gig. The brief will include content creation needs, your posting timeline, posting instructions, legal stuff, and just the real nooks and crannies of your gig. Make sure you’re ready to deliver what they’re asking for.
Not interested in the gig after checking out the brief? You can select “Not Interested,” let us know why this opportunity wasn’t for you, and the gig will be cleared out of your available gig queue.
APPLYING:
Once you’ve found a gig that gets your gears turning, get applying. The application might ask you for a description of your idea for the content or to select which of the brand’s products you’d like to feature — all the specifics for what the gig requires. When applying you’ll also include your fee- the amount you would like to be paid to complete all of the materials in the timeline listed in the brief.
Read our FAQ for guidance on how to fee.
Once you submit your fee, brands will consider all of the applications for the gig and you’ll hear back one of two ways.
- Accept — Congrats! Head on to the next step.
- Pass — Don’t let it get you down; brands have to pass for lots of reasons.
CREATING:
Did you get accepted? Time to flex those creative muscles. Depending on the gig, a brand might send you a product to use when creating your content. Stick to the timeline from the brief, and create some next-level content for the gig. The content should have the same quality as you’ve shown off in your portfolio. Upload all of the required content to our platform and wait for brand feedback. Keep in mind, you might need to revise your content based on feedback from the brand. Once you’ve gotten final approval, if necessary, post your masterpiece. If there’s no posting required then you’ll move straight into awaiting payment.
PAYMENT:
After completing the gig and satisfying the requirements in the brief, your payment will be sent within 30 days.
Don’t forget to setup your payment preference so there’s no delay in your payment.
That’s it! The real nitty-gritty of each campaign is detailed in the brief, so make sure you read those closely.
