How to link Your Instagram Account

Linking an Instagram Business account will provide access to the analytics behind the posts of the content you create with brands through Popular Pays. Brands are always looking for more insights behind social media posts, and these are the analytics that is a required part of collaborating with brands on Influencer campaigns. 

To link your Instagram account to Popular Pays, you need to authenticate it within the app. Follow these steps to authenticate your account:

1. Open the Popular Pays app and log in to your account.
2. Navigate to your profile section within the app.
3. Look for the option to "Authenticate Social Account" or a similar prompt.
4. Select Instagram from the list of available social platforms.
5. You'll be redirected to the Instagram login page. Enter your Instagram account credentials (username and password) and log in.
6. Authorize Popular Pays to access your Instagram account by tapping "Authorize" or "Allow" when prompted.

 

After authenticating your Instagram account, you need to link it to Popular Pays. Here's how:

1. Once you've authenticated your account, you'll be redirected back to the Popular Pays app.
2. In your profile section, look for the option to "Link Instagram Account" or a similar prompt.
3. Tap on the option and follow the instructions provided.
4. You may be asked to grant additional permissions or verify your account details.
5. Once you've completed the linking process, you'll receive a confirmation message indicating that your Instagram account is successfully linked.

** Your Instagram account must already be converted to a Business account to follow through on the steps below. Please ensure you have followed these instructions before proceeding:

Create a Facebook Business Page

In order to link your Instagram Business, you will need to link it to a Facebook Page. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to Facebook and select 'Page' in the Create dropdown in the top right corner.

2. Click 'Create Page'

1. Go to your Facebook Page and on the left side, click 'Page Settings' at the bottom of the sidebar. **Your Facebook Page is not the same as a personal Facebook Account.
