There are a few different factors that could be at play if a Creator post is missing from the stats page. Let's explore these reasons and possible solutions together.
First things first, let's make sure you understand how our platform pulls in post data. Our platform is connected to social networks via API connections, where we can exchange data. When setting up your campaign's creative brief, you are asked to include a unique hashtag. This hashtag is what our platform is looking for when ingesting data from the social network API it is connecting to.
That being said, if a Creator misspelled this hashtag in their post, or forgot to include it, our platform cannot pull in the post data until the hashtag is fixed/added to the post.
Manually adding posts to the platform
Creators are able to manually add their own posts to their gig in order to ensure that their posting deliverables are marked as completed. If a Creator post is missing from your stats page, you can share the link above and ask them to manually add in their post.
The post isn't currently supported
In certain cases, a post isn't supported via the social network API, and therefore, cannot be ingested by our platform and displayed on the stats page for your campaign.
A few examples of currently unsupported formats include:
- Instagram IGTV posts
- Instagram in-feed videos longer than 0:59sec
- these posts are turned into IGTV posts automatically
- Instagram Reels posts
How can you capture the post analytics in these cases? We recommend asking Creators to submit a screenshot of the post data via the messenger. If you are launching a campaign around one of these unsupported formats (i.e., IG Reels) we recommend including language in the creative brief that lets Creators know upfront that you will be requiring them to submit analytics via screenshots.
Note: Currently, we cannot manually add data to the stats page. The second-best option for this is exporting the stats page as a CSV and adding data that you gathered using screenshots to the CSV.
